More souvenirs and memories...

Zahrah's second consecutive SCOA Award of Merit

9 June 2001: Zahrah wins her second consecutive Award of Merit at an SCOA National Specialty. We thank judge C. Michael Williams for this honor: from a large Best of Breed entry, only six Select Awards were given. We are very proud of the striking Zahrah!

Best of Winners: London Ontario CA

One week later, Zahrah takes her first three Canadian points at the Monarch Kennel Club show in London Ontario. Thank you to judge Jan Buchanan for recognizing my "smokey lady" with Best of Winners honors.

Amy and Baby Blade!

1 December, 2001: Amy with her loving and naughty Scottish Deerhound friend Ch. Leelanau Bladerunner, at the Jaxon Kennel Club show in East Lansing. Blade went Best Opposite Sex under judge Kent Delaney, despite his best (and entertaining) efforts to not be a "show dog" that day. Blade is bred and owned by Deborah Hughes.

Thank you again for viewing our victories. We know they aren't always in the show ring, but this was a little nice, wasn't it?
